Luxury brand Banana Republic to launch 1st shop in Quebec

One of the world's largest specialty retailers, Gap Inc announced it will open its first Banana Republic store in Quebec on August 12th in Carrefour Laval.
Three additional stores are scheduled to open in leading Quebec shopping malls in August of 2005. The stores will range in size from 6,000 to 8,000 square feet.
Locations will include: Fairview Pointe Claire - opening August 17 St. Bruno - opening August 24 Rockland Shopping Centre - opening August 25
For Fall, Banana Republic evokes eclectic chic. Fedoras tilted and slouchy bags in tow, Banana Republic men and women represent the look and attitude of Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway a la 'Bonnie and Clyde' with effortlessly chic and glamorous style.
Banana Republic customers will love this 1970s-inspired look with long trenches and body-conscious sweater vests for him and houndstooth belted jackets and cropped trousers for her.
