Luxury Jeweler Greenwich Time Inc has announced that they have changed their name to Lussori Inc (www.lussori.com). Lawrence Kosick and Ned Taylor, two Yahoo! Inc veterans, purchased the business last year, and since their purchase, the new owners have worked to re-position Lussori to become a premier multi-channel luxury goods retailer.
Lussori is a derivative of the word for "luxury" in Italian and was selected because it better represents the firm's position in the market as a luxury goods provider.
Rebranding effort better positions the Company and its offerings as a top provider of luxury goods.
"The newly rebranding and positioning of the company more accurately reflects our new strategy and direction. We will continue to focus on our core offering of high-end timepieces and jewelry, but we also now have the potential flexibility to diversify into other luxury categories," said Lawrence Kosick, president of Greenwich Time. "Ned and I are truly committed to procuring the finest luxury brands and showcasing them in an elegant, authorized multi-channel format."
Lussori recently expanded their retail operation by launching a concierge service for their most exacting clients. "Concierge by Lussori" is led by Joseph White, a luxury goods industry veteran. "This is an important expansion for the company, while we talk a lot about technology and what we learn from our data, it all comes down to preserving and expanding the luxury experience," says Joseph White. White has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury goods industry, and he learned the importance of service and quality while working with Mr. Stanley Marcus during his 10-year career with Neiman Marcus.
