'The Rising' collection introduced by Titan

Leading watch & jewellery maker Titan Industries Ltd launched a commemorative range of limited edition watches – The Rising collection. The collection is exclusive limited edition range of commemorative watches.
The Rising collection comprises 4 exclusive designs. This collection is a salute to the legendary freedom fighter - Mangal Pandey who represents the selfless courage of Indians who dared to stand up for their convictions. His character is symbolic of the spirit of the many Indians of pre-independence era who contributed in their own individual way to India's freedom struggle.
Says Mr. Bijou Kurien, COO - Watches, Titan Industries Ltd., “With the launch of this limited edition watch collection, Titan has made a significant moment of history come alive, coinciding with India's 58 th year of Independence. These distinctive timepieces associated with a great hero provide all our fellow Indians an opportunity to wear this commemorative watch with patriotic zeal and pride.”
Adds Aamir Khan, “It is great that Titan has introduced specially designed limited edition watches for Mangal Pandey. The Rising Collection consists of four specially designed Mangal Pandey watches priced between Rs. 500 & Rs. 3295.
India based famous watch maker Titan Industries Limited, a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) commenced operations in 1987 under the name Titan Watches Limited. In 1994, Titan Industries diversified into Jewellery.
