IFS to stage fashion show 'Le Fait- Katrina' for the benefit of survivors

"Le Fait"- Katrina, New York Award gala will be integrated with a live musical performance featuring special guest appearance by accomplished composer and musician, Darryl Tookes. Darryl has been composing and singing his beautiful songs about life for two decades. The breadth of Darryl's music runs the spectrum from love to pain, with pit stops in between that touch people's hearts and lifts our spirit. A true complement to International Fashion Shows, "Le Fait"-Katrina events.

The support received will go to a special fund established by International Fashion Shows, Katrina-Fund.org. This fund was designed to address the changing "specific needs" of children and families that are not fulfilled through traditional sources (i.e. books, drawing stationary, toys and etc). The Katrina-Fund will also fund the reintroduction of small business enterprise to stimulate self-sufficiency to the communities effected.

Marine Advocacy Council is comprised of Manufacturers, Dealers, Brokers, and other maritime service related professionals. Members of the council are screened prior to acceptance into the network. NMMA Certification is required for all manufacturers MAC Approved Boat Brokers / Dealers are required to be licensed and fully insured.

Homeless: The Katrina-Fund will be used to deliver the following relief for Katrina victims- Educational material, books, pens/pencils, writing and drawing paper, water paints and brushes, journals toys and other developmental assistance as they arise.
