L'Oreal USA, a subsidiary of L'Oreal, has acquired 100% of the company's capital Columbia Beauty Supply.
Located in four states in the south-eastern United States, Columbia Beauty Supply achieved a turnover of about 60 million in 2007 by providing hairdressing salons in this region through a network of representatives and points Sales reserved for professionals.
The acquisition of Columbia Beauty Supply - which will be integrated with the Division of Professional Products - follows the purchase of the companies Beauty Alliance and Maly's West by L'Oreal USA in April and July 2007. Complementary geographically, Columbia Beauty Supply Beauty will be managed by Alliance.
This acquisition is in line with the desire to provide better service to American hairdressers.
