Net-a-porter.com bags Harpers & Queen/Chanel 'Entrepreneur of the Year'

Fashion e-tailer Natalie Massenet, founder of net-a-porter has been awarded the Harpers & Queen/Chanel 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award 2005. The award was presented at a reception at London's Somerset House on Tuesday 6th September 2005.
The award is recognition of five years hard work in establishing NET-A-PORTER.COM business has doubled in turnover every year and last year posted its first profits. With over 100 designers now stocked on the site, including big brand names like Chloé,Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu, it is the only online Fashion retailer delivering current season high fashion clothing and accessories worldwide.
The two other award winners were Bibie Boerio, Managing Director of Jaguar for Business Woman of the Year, and Jennifer Harris of JRBH Strategy & Management for Young Business Woman of the Year.
Natalie Massenet, Chairman and founder of NET-A-PORTER, commented: “Receiving an award is always a huge compliment but to be recognised by two such highly esteemed fashion leaders as Harpers & Queen and Chanel makes the accolade even more poignant.” She went on to thank her husband, management team and all the staff at NET-A-PORTER for helping to make it all happen.
