True Pentagon provides excellent retail environment for Washington

True Religion Apparel Inc announced the lease signing for a branded store at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. The 1,695 square-foot True Religion branded store will showcase the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature denim, expanding sportswear, and full range of licensed product, such as footwear, swimwear, headwear and handbags. The store is expected to open in Spring of 2008.
Located near the nation's capital and the Pentagon, the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City is ranked as one of the country's highest-grossing retail centers with sales in excess of approximately $700 per square foot. The True Religion store will be located in the Nordstrom wing, with Tourneau and Movado nearby as well as the entrance to Ritz Carlton Hotel.
The mall also features more than 170 restaurants and stores, including Coach, Cole Haan, Guess, Apple, BCBG Maxazaria, and Armani Exchange. The Centre spans over 900,000 square-feet, features an adjacent 12 story Class A office tower, and is easily accessible via the Washington, D.C. Metro system and all major freeway systems.
"The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City provides an excellent retail environment to showcase the True Religion brand and an opportunity for the local Washington, D.C. area residents and visitors to our capital to see our expanding collection," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer.
"Expanding into the Washington D.C. region is an important component of our national retail roll-out program, and the high traffic and high volume attributes of this mixed-use property are ideal for supporting growth of the True Religion brand," said Michael Buckley, president.
