True Religion Apparel Inc announced it has engaged Positive Ltd, as the company's new distributor in Israel for the Fall 2008 season. Credited with styling many Israeli celebrities, Positive Ltd currently represents brands such as Ed-Hardy, Butterfly, Christian Audigier, Rnt, Maschera, and We-r.

"Positive's reputation as one of the leading fashion distributors in Israel makes them an ideal partner to expand our presence in the country and leverage our growing popularity," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer.

"Israel represents an important strategic market for True Religion as we look to expand our footprint and awareness within the Middle East. We are confident that Positive, known for its extensive relationships with the Israeli fashion industry and exclusive focus on premium retailers, will help advance True Religion's mission of becoming a truly global brand."

"We believe significant opportunity exists to grow the True Religion brand in all international markets," said Michael Buckley, president.

"In addition to expanding our presence in the Middle East, we currently have distributors on six continents to help drive our international wholesale business. In our efforts to drive long-term growth, we are exploring additional alliances with new distributors and partnerships. Additionally, we sell directly to international retailers in countries where we currently do not have distributor relationships."
