Dress Barn offers job relocation for hurricane affected employees

"During this time of crisis, associates have truly embraced their colleagues, which is a testament the strength of Dress Barn extended family. They want to reiterate to all of employees that are turning no one away, as they are the core of organization," said David Jaffe, CEO.
In addition to the Associate assistance program and clothing donation, Dress Barn inc has established a special Associate matching gift program to encourage individual involvement in the relief effort. The company and the Jaffe Family Foundation (the founding family's organization) is "double matching" any donations to The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross charities.
Given the extent of the tragedy and its direct impact on the company's Associates in that region, Dress Barn, inc is also making financial and in-kind assistance available to the affected individuals and families. This assistance comes through the Sunshine Fund, which was established over 15 years ago to assist Associates in times of need.
The Dress Barn Inc is a leading national specialty apparel retailer offering quality career and casual fashion apparel through its Dress Barn and maurices brands. As of August 27, 2005, the Company operated 786 Dress Barn stores in 45 states and 497 maurices stores in 39 states.
