Salma Hayek presents at Sergio Rossi Melrose opening

Italian luxury footwear and accessories brand, Sergio Rossi celebrated the opening of its 1,500 sq. ft. store on Melrose Place with an intimate dinner at Bastide co-hosted by Sergio Rossi Creative Director Edmundo Castillo and Salma Hayek on January 16, 2008.
Salma Hayek wearing patent leather & silk platforms from the new S/S collection and a red patent leather clutch arrived with long-time producing partner Jose Tamez.
Guests included Debi Mazar wearing camel "Veronika" pumps with matching compact clutch, and Saffron Burrows clad in black sequined round toe pumps and Salma's brother Sami Hayek, a Los Angeles based architect and furniture designer.
Other guests included Mia Maestro wearing black velvet "Veronika" pumps and a red patent clutch, Ana Ortiz, Giannina Facio, Eva Chow, celebrity florist Eric Buterbaugh, and celebrity stylists Elizabeth Stewart and Rachel Zoe who wore satin sequined slingbacks. Teri Weinberg of NBC and writer Marc Abrams were also in attendance.
Guests were treated to a specially designed Italian inspired 5-course menu by acclaimed Bastide chef, Walter Manzke. After dinner, guests embarked on a spur-of-the-moment late night shopping spree.
Accompanied by Didier Bonnin, Sergio Rossi CEO, guests walked down the street to the new boutique and shopped into the wee hours.
Edmundo Castillo autographed the soles of everyone's shoes, including Vanessa Williams, who choose metallic bronze ankle boots from the latest collection.
