Project 2050 one of the Northeast's fastest growing advertising agencies, has completed an extensive search for a new creative director. Project 2050 Founder and CEO Phil Colon announced Nick Angel, formerly of Creative HotHouse, has been named to the position.
Angel will lead the agency's creative team and serve as chief branding consultant on all client accounts. He will additionally be tasked to help identify and cultivate new business opportunities while collaborating with the brand strategy and creative teams to help meet client needs.
"Nick is more than we could have hoped for when we began our search nearly six months ago. He is a tremendous leader, teacher and practitioner of outstanding creative work," said Colon.
"With the addition of Nick to our team, our agency's capabilities will continue to expand based on his ability to offer comprehensive brand-building, product innovation and design, and strategic solutions to our clients."
Prior to joining Project 2050, Angel lived in Barcelona, Spain where he served as creative director at Creative HotHouse, a full-service design agency he founded in 2002.
Specializing in corporate identity, packaging, and environmental design, the agency provided branding and creative support to clients such as Dannon, Carolina Herrera, LVMH, and Toyota Scion. Angel executed varied projects from retail space development to product and furniture design.
A 15-year advertising veteran, Angel began his career at Artistree Enterprise/Enterprise IG, a division of Ogilvy & Mather based in Hong Kong.
