Sixteen students group present aesthetic creations at Synergy

'Synergy 2008', a Fashion show organized by SOFT to promote upcoming talents from the institute. Through this event the young girls put forward there first step in the world of Fashion.
The event was held at Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Sixteen group of students displayed there aesthetic creations which were a creative blend of style, colour, fabric and surface ornamentation just perfect in place. The designs were based on various innovative themes.
The event saw a lot of glitz and glamour as super models like Tapur Chatterjee, Fleur Xavier, Mrudula Chandrashekhar, Sandhya Sheety and Alecia Raut brought the designs to life on the ramp.
A pannel of judges including sum of the fashion industries biggest names like Ms. Meher Castelino, Fashion Journalist, Mr. Murli Lahoti, Artist, Mr. Salim Arif, Costume Designer from Mumbai, Mr. I. B. Peerzada, Director, NIFT, Mumbai, etc. and others graced the occasion to chose the best collection.
Various awards like, best designer, most creative design collection, most effective collection on ramp, most commercially viable collection, most innovatively ornamented collection, etc. were declared.
