Carmine Petruzello new President of Enyce

Latest fashions provider Liz Claiborne Inc announced that Carmine Petruzello has been named President of Enyce, effective Sept 12, 2005. Petruzello will replace Evan Davis who has left the Company effective Sept. 9, 2005 by mutual agreement in order to pursue other interests. Liz Claiborne Inc purchased Enyce, a leading brand of fashion forward, street wear for men and women in November 2003.

Commenting on the announcement, Karen Murray, group President, Menswear for Liz Claiborne Inc, said: "Thrilled to have someone with Carmine's range of experience - retailer, manufacturer, and merchant. Carmine's expertise in merchandising and product development, especially with regard to the young men's market, will be of great value as we develop Enyce as a lifestyle brand. Wish Evan well in his new endeavors and are confident that Carmine, working with the strong management team developed by Evan, will enable us to realize Enyce's full potential as a power brand in its sector."

Until August 2005, Petruzello was president of Marc Ecko "Cut & Sew," where he helped launch the brand. Prior to that he was president of Guess Kids, which he joined after a stint as senior vice president of the Children's Division of Tommy Hilfiger, USA where he was responsible for sales and merchandising. Petruzello also spent seven years at Federated Department Stores where as vice president of Men's Collections, Young Men's and Boys 8-20, he was instrumental in the launch of the Urban Street Wear and Status Denim departments.

New York based Liz Claiborne Inc is a designing & marketing an extensive range of fashion apparel and accessories for women, men, teens, children and infants. The Company also markets fragrances for women and men. The 41 brands in the Liz Claiborne Inc portfolio are available at more than 30,000 points of sale worldwide.
