Nanette Lepore steals the show at NYFW

The New York Fashion Week (NYFW), which began on February 1, is coming to an end today. It is known for establishing latest trends. So far it has witnessed some of the best collections of eminent designers.

On February 6, Nanette Lepore presented her fall collection which mainly aimed at young party loving girls. Known for her feminine, ultra chic designs this time she came up with funky and party wears. She even made some of the models wear tiaras to add rich feel to the garments.

The new line had bright colours like purple, pink and teal. The designs were perfect for anyone who wishes to be the centre of attraction right from cocktail to late night dance parties. With halter necks in stripes to trumpet-hem all dresses are waiting to be picked up.

Feminine suit, high-waist crisply pleated skirts teamed up with short jackets are going to set the trends. Taffeta tops with overstated bows, chiffon blouses and sequin camisoles can be worn with broad as well as narrow trousers. Tweed was a favored material used for cocktail wear.

Her collection was highly appreciated by the audience. It turned out to be one of the most talked about show. Fashionistas enjoyed it and party goers loved it all the more.
