Buckle Inc net sales drop in Jan

The Buckle Inc announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 4-week fiscal month ended February 2, 2008, increased 19.1 percent from comparable store net sales for the 4-week period ended February 3, 2007.
Total net sales were up 26.4 percent compared to the 4-week period ended February 3, 2007. Net sales for the 4-week fiscal month ended February 2, 2008 decreased 2.3 percent to $39.2 million from net sales of $40.1 million for the prior year 5-week fiscal month ended February 3, 2007.
Comparable store net sales for the fourth quarter ended February 2, 2008 increased 18.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended February 3, 2007. Total net sales were up 25.3 percent compared to the 13-week period ended February 3, 2007.
Net sales for the 13-week fourth quarter ended February 2, 2008 increased 18.4 percent to $207.1 million compared to net sales of $175.0 million for the prior year 14-week fourth quarter ended February 3, 2007.
Comparable store net sales for the fiscal year ended February 2, 2008 increased 13.2 percent from comparable store net sales for the 52-week period ended February 3, 2007. Total net sales were up 18.8 percent compared to the 52-week period ended February 3, 2007.
Net sales for the 52-week fiscal year ended February 2, 2008 increased 17.0 percent to $620.0 million from net sales of $530.1 million for the prior year 53-week fiscal year ended February 3, 2007.

Net sales for the 13-week fourth quarter ended February 2, 2008 increased 18.4 percent to $207.1 million compared to net sales of $175.0 million for the prior year 14-week fourth quarter ended February 3, 2007.
Comparable store net sales for the fiscal year ended February 2, 2008 increased 13.2 percent from comparable store net sales for the 52-week period ended February 3, 2007. Total net sales were up 18.8 percent compared to the 52-week period ended February 3, 2007.
Net sales for the 52-week fiscal year ended February 2, 2008 increased 17.0 percent to $620.0 million from net sales of $530.1 million for the prior year 53-week fiscal year ended February 3, 2007.
