Shoe producers to adopt anti-bacterium technology

The institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences has recently joined forces with the shoes manufacturers of Quanzhou city, Fujian Province, to provide high-tech environmental protection materials to the leather industries of the country.
The institute will not only provide special anti-bacterium materials to the various shoe manufacturing units but will also take charge of the entire production facilities and technical department of sports shoes industries across the region.
Manager of Erke, professional sports brand and one of the most famous international sporting goods suppliers, observed, that there has been a growing awareness about environmental protection functions of sport shoes among footwear manufacturers and it is time that proper research and development is undertaken to expand this industry.
Experts have also reiterated that with the unconditional support of Chinese Academy of Sciences, it will be possible to add a technical aspect to the footwear industry providing scope for further improvement and expansion of the sector.
