MOONWALK to be theme of Design Attack

With segment-specific fashion shows, numerous trend lectures, information events with sectoral experts, communication forums for trade and industry and much more GDS (14 to 16 March 2008) once again offers a topical, high-calibre supporting programme for the fair.

Surveys show visitors and exhibitors rate the intensive supporting programme very highly. GDS benefits from a unique feature: the fair's trend and fashion competence has now become a central participation criterion.

International shoe retailers, in particular, need the qualified information offered by the numerous events to give them assurance when ordering.

With the extended supporting programme GDS has been able to position itself with a considerably stronger fashion focus over the past few seasons and has confirmed itself as a key driver for the international shoe and leather goods industry.

Fashion Shows:
The Showcenter in Hall 14 next season will see innovative choreographies and new stage concepts. The catwalk area together with the TrendVision exhibition with its three themes 'Smooth', 'Smart' and 'Sampled' forms an entire concept.

This makes it possible to experience the trends for the 2008/09 Autumn/Winter season with all the senses and demonstrates how fashion, design and lifestyle influence each other.
