A&C S/S collection inspired by Life in slow motion

Metallic colours are still going strong, and we have mixed gold and silver in some of the collections. Glittering, angled facets and mosaic details are very fashionable this season. We made our own 3-dimentional interpretation called ”Facets”.
This theme is called ”kaleidoscope”. Inspired by 60s and 70s with bold patterns, ”homemade” embroidery, needlework details and patchwork.
Gucci based most of their collection on geometrical kaleidoscope patterns and ornamented hexagon shapes. This was the inspiration behind our collection called ”Kaleidoscope”. Gray colours are still essential this season.
”Tribal couture”, ”Global mix” and ”African Chic”are all important expressions for this summer. See the bogolan patterned dress from Givenchy on the top right corner, and Kate Moss for Cavalli on the photo below.
We have also been inspired by African mud prints in this collection called ”Bogolan”. Bogolan pattern comes from the traditional mud printed cloth from West Africa. Its rustic beauty has an eternal appeal.
