Monkee's of Lake Norman to open a store at Harris Teeter

With brands like Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman and Echo Design, Monkee's of Lake Norman strikes a balance between high fashion and affordability.
"We don't sell the extremely expensive designer items," Bowers said. "There's a realistic need for items of equal quality without the higher price."
After working in nursing and pharmaceutical sales management, Bowers decided to combine her sales knowledge and love of fashion to pursue her second lifelong dream.
"My college girlfriends often remind me of the days when I longed to own a boutique and wear fabulous clothes and shoes," she said.
Now, she's helping women from around the area look and feel fabulous. "Even on a bad hair day, you always feel better when you're wearing a great pair of shoes!"
