Soulful creation from Raghavendra Rathore!

Undoubtedly one cannot ignore the Jodhpur association with Raghavendra Rathore watching a polo match on a glorious Sunday morning.
His collection is a soulful rendition and conveys a feeling of tranquility and perfection. Deep plum, burgundy, tan, eternal blacks, favourite whites, nudes and caramel was the colour story for match.
The silhouettes were fitted, clean and made a strong statement which signified the focus and gave an aura of an emerging winner.
Smartly tailored jodhpurs, jackets, short dresses, skirts all exuded elegance. Leather jackets worn over fitted leather pants contrasted soft silk shirts with flirtatious collars that were teamed with short jackets and skirts.
Riding gear motifs printed on different surfaces spoke volumes of a toughness inherited in the sharply constructed line.
The Indian elements were evident in the fitted crepe leggings worn with short kurtas with open sleeves showing coloured linings. Soft kaftan dresses, floor length gowns compared with structured ensembles.
Patch pockets, top stitching details, embossed and printed patterns, tone on tone embroideries all justified Rathore's attitude to finesse.
Oversized sun glasses and embossed reptile patent leather bags certainly did add to the glamour factor.
