LaCrosse to support Marine Corps Family Foundation

LaCrosse Footwear Inc, a leading provider of branded work and outdoor footwear for expert users, announced that it helped raise $20,450 for the Marine Corps Family Foundation through the Danner and LaCrosse performance sock sale at the Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in January.
The Marine Corps Family Foundation (MCFF) is committed to serving deployed Marines, sailors, soldiers, airmen, and their families through support organizations, projects, volunteer support, and donations.
“LaCrosse Footwear is honored to support such an important foundation,” said Joseph P. Schneider, president and CEO of LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. “We truly appreciate the dedication and service of the Marines and their families who give so much to protect our country. We feel that it's important to help support our brave men and women in uniform through organizations like the Marine Corps Family Foundation.”
Due to the positive response to this effort, this is the third consecutive year that LaCrosse has donated socks, raising more than $50,000 for charities at SHOT Show. Over 1700 pairs of socks were made available to SHOT Show attendees for a suggested donation of $3 with LaCrosse Footwear's commitment to match initial sock sale donations.
In addition, the George and Virginia Schneider Charitable Foundation generously agreed to double total donations, providing a grand total of more than $20,450 in donations to the MCFF. Former LaCrosse Footwear BoardChairman George Schneider and his wife Virginia developed the Foundation based on their strong belief in giving back to the community.
