Lawn prints to rule summer fiesta

Both the established and upcoming designers have taken a liking to lawn prints that seem to be the most 'in' thing for this summer season.
However, some of the designers believe that it is the only fabric that can be worn for both summers as well as winters.
A recent launch of collection made by a designer, displayed exuberant experimentation with not only lawn prints but also khadi. A line of apparel especially for men mainly comprising embroidered and slightly embellished kurtees were also exhibited.
Lawn prints are in great demand in Pakistan and even overseas. Some of the designers have created lawn print in various vibrant colors and designs from Mughal architecture and the British era. They have also made extensive use of floral patterns to make it diverse and different from other collections.
A large number of stores have lawn printed garments as a part of their collection and these are fast disappearing from the shelves. Connoisseur designer believes that lawn prints can be carried off well by both young as well as the elderly.
With summers already spreading its scorching heat, lawn prints are becoming the hot favorite designs for the masses and is likely to stay in demand for a while.
