Celebs reflect radiance on ramp thru Andre Kim fashion line

Famous Korean celebrity designer Andre Kim once again stuck to the label of being a show stopper during the opening of fashion show in Preview in Shanghai 2008, yesterday, at Shanghai Mart.

Kim showcased his Spring/Summer fashion collection 2009, in front of the fashion conscious audience of China. Andre is renowned for surprising the spectators by bringing famous Korean superstars on the runway for showcasing his designs. This time also he managed to bring Lee Da-hae, Kim Jung-hoon and Jang Geun-suk on ramp.

Andre had divided his creations into five segments Beijing Festival, Chinese Legend, Fantasy of Korean Palace, Princess Hours and My Everlasting Love. The luxuriant and gorgeous evening gowns worn by famous celebrities like Lee Da-hae sizzled the ramp and applause rained from all directions.

The garments were a fantastic mix of art, culture and history of China as well as Korea. Every collection brought rainbow of colours on stage featuring purple, orange, pink along with royal red, gold and silver on the stage that seemed to celebrate the cordial relationship between Korea and China.

The fashion treat concluded with 'My Everlasting Love' collection, featuring exquisitely detailed wedding gowns. The sophisticated embroidery on the dresses with precious stones embellishments were highly appreciated by fashionistas.

Andre has always maintained his distinct style by merging the mesmerizing and glorious past with unpredictable and mysterious future. His creations are always in demand not only in Asian continents but also in fashion hubs like Italy and Paris.

'Preview in Shanghai', is an annual event organized by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), in order to enhance the trade between both nations. This time more than 120 fashion and textile companies are participating here to showcase their products.
