Italy sportswear brand launches 'Kappa Under 14'

Kappa - the Italian fashion sports wear brand introduced in India by LMG Brands has launched its sports wear range for kids – Kappa Under 14 - in India.

Comprising of a distinct range for boys and girls, the collection has been designed to appeal to kids in the age group 4 – 14.

The brand also marked the launch of Kappa Under 14 by extending support to Arjun Maini who is the National Karting Champion Under 12.

The launch event saw Arjun Maini - the fastest Indian on wheels Under 12 - make his way to the audience through a power packed karting spectacle.

Kappa Under 14 has been positioned as a sportswear brand with an emphasis on “active wear”. The Italian origin of the brand further lends it a distinct style and validates the tagline of the Kappa brand – Look Good On The Move.

The range is priced will be available through Kappa Exclusive stores in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Calicut.

In addition the Kappa Under 14 range is present at large format stores like Lifestyle & Central across the cities of New Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad.

The branded kids wear market in India is estimated at Rs. 1000 crores and is growing at about 15%. Kappa Under 14 hopes to garner a significant chunk of this market.

Commenting on the launch, Johnny John, President of LMG Brands said “Kids in urban India are increasingly stepping out and choosing an active lifestyle for themselves.
