Clothing retailer Goody's Family Clothing store to open at Oxford

Tennessee based clothing retailer Goody's Family Clothing Inc is offering a fresh, convenient way to shop for the latest fashions, shoes, and accessories with the grand opening of its newly relocated Oxford location on Thursday, October 6, 2005.
The new Oxford Goody's will join Oxford Marketplace on West Jackson Avenue. Local dignitaries and executives from Goody's corporate office in Knoxville, Tenn. will commemorate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.Shoppers are invited to celebrate the grand opening festivities at 9 a.m.
The first 300 customers will receive a goody bag with five lucky customers receiving a bag including a $100 giftcard. Throughout the grand opening weekend, shoppers will also have the opportunity to register to win an assortment of prizes including a $500 giftcard and family vacations.
The new 20,050-square-feet store will include elements of the “new store” design, which is being implemented in stores throughout the chain. This shopper-friendly concept features wider aisles and easy-to-read department signage.
