Esmod awards Selina for oiginality with swaroski Crystals

Selina Farooqui, 20 years of age and freshman student at French Fashion University – Esmod was awarded as the 1st runner-up in the student category for her vision of the bridal dress based on the theme imposed of “the Art of Intimacy” by the judges of the Swarovski Young Designer Award.
The Award winners are selected on criteria such as originality, innovative use of Swarovski Crystals, fabrics, colors, trimmings, and presentation.
The unique feel and creativity of Selina's interpretation of the theme took her to glitter along her model on the stage of the Bridal Show.
“I am happy to win this prize, which I dedicate to my family who has been a great support and to my teachers from Esmod who have given me knowledge with passion and generosity. This award gave me the motivation to enter more competitions”.
With her romantic bridal creation, a silk gown decorated with silk handmade flowers symbolizing passion, delicate beauty and love, Selina's style design combines modern elegance, affirms passion, creativity and inspiration out of the past century.
“Wearing this gown becomes and intimate experience for the bride. The sunray pleated body of the gown is inspired by waterfalls interpreting purity and privacy” said the award winner student from Esmod.
Commenting on Selina Swarovski's award, Mrs. Tamara Hostal, Director of French Fashion University - Esmod said: “We are very proud of Selina, her work and her creation. She hasworked very hard to get this prize.
