Charming Shoppes to host conference call for Q1 fiscal 2009

Charming Shoppes Inc, a leading multi-brand, multi-channel specialty apparel retailer specializing in women's plus-size apparel, will host its first quarter fiscal 2009 sales and earnings conference call on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 9:15 a.m. eastern time.
First quarter results will be released over the newswires and will be available on Form 8-K prior to 9:15 a.m. eastern time. Both the first quarter earnings release and the Form 8-K will be available at company's website in investor section.
Dorrit J. Bern, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and President, Eric M. Specter, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Steven R. Wishner, Sr. Vice President of Finance, Strategy and Business Development and Gayle M. Coolick, Vice President of Investor Relations, will comment on the Company's first quarter results.
