Limited Brands appoints Mr Horvath as EVP of Business Integration

Limited Brands Inc announced the appointment of Peter Horvath as Executive Vice President (EVP) of business integration, effective at the end of June. Horvath is rejoining Limited Brands where he spent 19 years with the company from 1985 to 2004. He will report to Martyn Redgrave, executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Limited Brands.
In this position, Horvath will work closely with Redgrave and Les Wexner, chairman and chief executive officer of Limited Brands, on a variety of operational strategies and initiatives.
"Peter's depth of experience with us; his knowledge of retail operations, merchandise planning and allocation; and his functional operating experience will serve us well as we look to build bench strength for the enterprise," said Wexner. "We are very excited to welcome him back to the Limited Brands family."
Prior to rejoining Limited Brands, Horvath served as president of Columbus-based DSW, Inc. for three years with direct responsibility for all store operations, business and administrative functions.
During his 19 years with Limited Brands, Horvath served in a variety of senior leadership roles across the enterprise, including senior vice president of merchandise planning and allocation for all of Limited Brands and chief financial officer for the apparel group.
Horvath received his BSBA at Boston University and completed his coursework for a Master of Science in Finance at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. He sits on the board of directors for the New Albany-Plain Local school district in New Albany, Ohio.
