Before joining Gap Inc., Carr was the Vice President, Corporate Pricing at Safeway. She joined Safeway from Booz-Allen Hamilton, where she was a Principal in the Consumer Products and Retail Group. She has a BA in Zoology and an MA in Biology from San Jose State University and a MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Business of Cornell University.
