UMA plays with new proportions

For the summer of 2008/09, Raquel Davidowicz developed a collection based on the possibilities of transformation and reutilization of materials, with a sportive air.
UMA presents reused materials pressed with micro rubber and plastic yarns. For such, she used differentiated fabrics and played with new proportions.
The pieces have localized volume and asymmetries. The fabrics undergo special processes, which provide an effect that resembles artisanal collages.
Cotton cambric, silk and chiffon, as well as knits and viscose pleats are found in UMA's fashion. Gowns, bermudas, skirts and tank tops for her.
The men's wardrobe gets pants and shirts in a sort of modern tailoring. Colors: orange, yellow, grays, roses, navy and black, among others.
