Liz Claiborne names Elizabeth Reeves as SVP & Chief HR Officer

Liz Claiborne Inc announced that Elizabeth L. Reeves will join the company as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective August 4, 2008. Ms. Reeves will report directly to William L. McComb, Chief Executive Officer, Liz Claiborne Inc. She replaces Larry McClure, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. McComb said: "Beth's experience in the Chief Human Resources Officer role is important as we continue to restructure the company and execute our strategic plan. Her experience in compensation design, building high performance cultures and teams, and managing complex change was compelling for us. The Human Resources function has played a key role in the turnaround of Liz Claiborne Inc. to date, and will play an even more important role in the next phase."
Ms. Reeves joins Liz Claiborne Inc. from Lincoln Financial Group in Philadelphia, PA where she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Reeves began her career as the head of Human Resources for the largest JB Ivey and Company (now Dillard's) department store followed by 19 years at GE Company with increasing human resources responsibilities over a range of businesses.
