Outdoor & heavy knitted garments sales down in Sept - H&M

Fashionable clothing provider Hennes and Mauritz Group (H&M) released the sales results of September, 2005.

The turnover for the company increased in September 2005 by 7 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year.

The unusually warm weather in September, above all in Continental Europe, has had a negative effect on sales of outdoor and heavy knitted garments. This has been particularly noticeable in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Sales on the Scandinavian markets have however been good.
