Damas, the leading international jewellery retailer in the Middle East, puts the spotlight on the rare artistry of Annamaria Cammilli.

The famed Italian jeweler presents her exciting collections for the year, which reinterpret nature through new stylistic forms and poetic themes. Her creations could very well be considered art pieces, versatile enough to suit any mood and occasion.

Known in the jewellery world as the 'Lady of Flowers', Annamaria Cammilli originally started as a painter, but found jewellery as the perfect medium of expressing her creative ideas.

She collaborates with her designer-daughter Raffaella and top Florentine goldsmiths to bring her unique designs to life. Cammilli has developed a style that satisfies the vanity, femininity and elegance of the contemporary woman.

Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas, commented “Annamaria Cammilli has the rare ability to merge art and nature in her creations.

Her brand of jewel-making, while having roots in the old goldsmith traditions, explores and incorporates technology.

Her collections combine outstanding design sensibility and craftsmanship which are sure to win the hearts of women in the region.”

Masterfully working with gold and precious and semi-precious stones, Cammilli has produced three bewitching collections - Horizon, Hypnosis and Ramage.

Together, they present an awesome spread of pendants and necklace,s rings, earrings, designed to accentuate the contemporary look.

Ramage displays Cammilli's great attention to detail and her mastery of working with gold. It is a light and charming collection, which takes entwining vines and small leaves as inspiration to come up with a rich organic motif. It is a high versatile and fashionable collection composed of earrings, pedants and ring.

Hypnosis celebrates the beauty of the rose blossom which is stylised to advance modern minimalism. The shape of the rose –a Cammilli signature is smoothened and synthesised into two converging spirals.

The workmanship is complex, successfully balancing the matte and shiny textures of gold, the sparkle of brilliants, and the spiral effect of the main design motif.

The collection is composed of earring, pendant and rings in various colours of gold, giving more movement to the pieces.

Horizon evokes the skyline of a foamy wave (represented by the pave), from which the sun rises, the sky appearing in its brightness as the night breaks (symbolized by fumé quartz, prasiolite or onyx).

They are observed from a blooming hedge of small Cammilli flowers, from the horizon. It offers elegant combinations such as fumé quartz or carnelian stone with orange gold, prasiolite with pink gold and onyx with natural gold.

The workmanship is extremely complex, requiring a balance between three very different elements: gold, gems and brilliants in new daring forms. Thedazzling collection features earring, pendants and rings.

Annamaria Cammilli's Horizon, Hypnosis and Ramage Collections are now available at select Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques across the UAE.
