Manolo Blahnik Dublin brings A/W 2008-9 collections

We are pleased to announce the October opening of the first Manolo Blahnik shop in Ireland, which will be housed in Brown Thomas' flagship Grafton Street store in Dublin, The autumn/winter 2008-9 collection will be sold in a designated space within the Shoe Studio designed by Data Nature Associates using as inspiration Dublin's Georgian history, and its industrial and crafts heritage.
Materials and fabrics in colours and hues inspired by the Southern Irish countryside are combined with rough, industrial finishes thereby challenging all preconceptions of grand Georgian living.
Of particular note is the use of a classic Cole & Son wall paper pattern which will be pushed in different directions into materials as diverse as relief cast-concrete, water-jet cut blackened steel, etched glass and linen.
