West Pune welcomes Royal Classic fashion

The hip and happening residential location of Aundh in West Pune flaunted a "Classic" fashion statement like never before. The Royal Classic Group (RCG), which revolutionized the country's male fashion scenario with signature style Classic Polo T-shirts, opened the city's first Classicpolo showroom at Aundh.

The inauguration coincided with RCG's sweeping plans to set up 100 retail outlets in the country by the current fiscal, while also acknowledging the overwhelming trade enquiries by brand regulars in this region. City's worshipful Mayor Mrs. Rajlaxmi Bhonsale and leader of the House – Pune Municipal Corporation - Mr. Anil Bhonsale graced the inaugural at Aundh's Westend Shopping (Opposite Convergence).

As chief guest at the inaugural, Mrs. Rajlaxmi Bhosale said, "We are glad that Royal Classic Mills, a well-known exporter and owner of Classic Polo brand, has chosen Pune over other bigger towns like Mumbai for their retail operations for western India.

I am sure the business friendly culture, infrastructure and the business potential of this town have been prime factors for this decision. As a Mayor, I can assure that Royal Classic will be happy for this, and also assure them of our support in their endeavour to grow in Western India"

Leader of House Mr. Anil Bhosale, who was the guest of honour, said, "As I understand, Aundh's Classic Polo exclusive brand outlet is the first of many more to come in Pune. We welcome them in Pune/ Maharashtra and assure them of our whole hearted support and wish them good luck".

Commenting on the Launch Executive Director of RCG, R. Sivaram said, “We are happy to serve the rising fashion needs of Pune. We are sure that the old and young alike will welcome Royal Classic fashion in town,” With the exclusive Classicpolo showroom, brand regulars can look to shop a complete range of international quality men's wear under one roof.

The Rs. 325 crore RCG, plans to set up 30 outlets in this region. “As a company, we are looking at multiple showrooms in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik and Nagpur, apart from them our focus towns are Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Sholapur, Sangli, Aamravati in Maharashtra, Ahemdabad, Baroda, Surat in Gujarat and Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh,” Mr Sivaram added.

According to RCG Retail Head (West) Rajeev Kathuria, “As a highly appreciated brand in Pune and several other regions of West India, Classic Polo has many more showrooms in the pipeline for this region. Our intention is to assure that a complete range of apparel is available to our customers at the nearest shopping destination at unbelievable range and price”.

The entire RCG retail chain will be run on franchisee basis. While we would meet the expenditure of the establishment, salaries and so on, all that the franchisee would have to do is to profitably run the business and earn handsome commission and incentives. “This is our humble way of encouraging self employment, while simultaneously expanding our footprint across the country. RCG has earmarked a whopping Rs 10 crore for this purpose" RCG Retail Head (South) Vasanth said.
