EquinEty Jewellery Store proves huge hit.....with the guys!

Online equestrian jewellery store EquinEty has been stunned to find that its launch campaign this month which was targeted at the UK female market actually got the guys galloping to the site instead.

"It's really quite incredible that more than 80% of our online buyers of horse jewellery this opening month have been men", said Jackie Hunt, Director of EquinEty an exclusive horse-themed jewellery web site which launched just four weeks ago.

"It's ironic that we spent thousands of pounds targeting women with our launch campaign only to find that it's the men who are making tracks to our website and buying up horsey pendants, brooches and earrings", said Jackie.

Using Google and Yahoo for its online campaign, didn't once consider placing online ads within men's interest sites but the company is now totally rethinking its marketing strategy to better serve their fast-growing male customer base. But why are men so keen? Said Jackie:

"Like me, most horse riders are likely to be galloping around in the summer sunshine, leaving our partners at home usually with a cold beer and Formula 1 online motorsport to keep them company.

I'm an old romantic and like to think our men are so in love with us horsey girls that they're also using some of their precious internet time seeking out our next birthday and even Christmas presents as we're a tough horsey lot to find gifts for!"
