Prom line to feature at FCD in a mini-market format

A 'mini-market' format highlighting prom and special occasion dressing will be hosted at the Fashion Center Dallas (FCD) from August 11 to 13 preceding the main holiday and resort fashion and accessories market scheduled for August 14 to 17.

Exhibitors wanting to participate in the gala debut event have given a very encouraging response increasing the likelihood of a successful show.

Prom lines will be displayed in booths in Expo 1 room on the first floor of the World Trade Center and in 20-25 permanent fashion showrooms on the 14th and 15th floor.

Alyce Designs, Flirt by Maggie Sotero, Jovani, Mori Lee, Nicole Bakti, Niteline, Riva, Sue Wong, Tadashi, Tiffany Designs, Atelier Aluyce, Juan Carlos Pinera and Robin Jordan will be some of the grand labels to feature in the event.

Some of the shows at the event will also be promoting the upcoming holiday and resort fashion market beginning August 14. This apart, the mart will host a “Fashion Attack” cocktail party on Friday which will be followed by a fashion show at Kim Dawson Runway Café.

Collections new to the building this season include Abi Ferrin at Fortune Denim; April Cornell/Cornell Trading at Deanne Wilde; Beyond Yoga at Susanne Taylor & Associates; C. Luce and Fidelity Denim at Colletta; Jenny Han at Ritz Group; Members Only at The Newell Group; Robin Jordan at Ferrell & Kramer; Veronica M. and Fluxus at Leon & Associates; Totara at Martha Foster; Handbags by “O” by Oscar de la Renta, and Via Spiga at Rosanne Saginaw & Associates.
