Zara Terez launches a unique handbag line

Third generation designer, Zara Terez Zimmerman, launched her maiden handbag line, Zara Terez. The collection is inspired by vintage style and combines it with modern mode.
Each handbag expresses a contemporary lifestyle and a unique connection between material, form, space and structure.
The Zara Terez collection contains handbags for all purposes, day or night, divided into three categories Zara has coined, "Clubbing," "Strolling" and "Schlepping."
Keeping with their New York heritage, each handbag is named after a different neighborhood located in the five boroughs of New York City.
A defining element of each handbag is the interior. The interior of each silhouette has a special lining that is always meant to surprise.
Every Zara Terez creation has personal meaning, like "the Ruthie," a 1967 vintage style handbag Zara made as a tribute to her Great-Aunt Ruth Saltz, herself a handbag designer.
Zara's parents, Justine and Richard Zimmerman have also had a successful career in fashion and have been valued consultants to Zara in the creation of the Zara Terez collection.
Growing up in a small beach town, Zara's love of her environment has influenced her collection in the form of textures, color, fabrics and shapes.
Zara, Founder and Chief Designer of Zara Terez, explains, "I have lived by the sea all my life and I can't escape the captivating forms and colors of nature that surround me.
I believe I have harnessed the natural and generational influences that I have been blessed with to create a beautiful, provocative collection for stylish and independent women who want to look fabulous."
The Zara Terez handbag collection is making its debut at the Accesorie Circuit Show, booth no 8248, located at the Jacobs Javits center in Manhattan, NY August 3rd - 5th, 2008. The collection will be available soon at fashion retailers across the nation.
