While their comfort and functionality have made Crocs shoes a favorite for all types of consumers, Crocs Inc is renewing its dedication to its roots – the water – with its latest line of amphibious shoes debuting at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show in Salt Lake City. This technologically advanced collection utilizes the notable benefits of Croslite material while providing traction, durability and quick drying properties demanded by water enthusiasts.

The new water sports models available in Spring/Summer 2009 include:

• Ace Boating, featuring the iconic Crocs look with the boating technology for excellent traction, durability, and grooves to channel away water. The lightweight design is available for men and women in four colors including navy/white, chocolate/khaki, khaki/chocolate and pearl/cotton candy

• Wraith, a revolutionary design with Crocs lock H2O technology offers multiple angles of traction with integrated siping tread. The quick pull lacing system enables easy entry and the Exo-Frame design wraps the foot creating a firm, supportive fit

• Dead Ahead, a performance boating shoe available for men and women combines Crocs lock H2O for advanced wet traction and a Croslite material Exo-Frame that wraps the foot with a protective shell for toe, heel and lateral protection

“This collection is about Crocs getting back to its roots, offering a casual performance line of shoes designed for recreation in and around the water,” said Adam Baker, Vice President of Merchandising for Crocs, Inc. “With the introduction of new products such as the Ace Boating and Wraith, Crocs continues to be the leader in molded footwear design and technology. Additionally, we are marrying the benefits of Croslite material and traditional lasted footwear to create exciting new products such as the Dead Ahead.”

Retailers can view the Spring/Summer 2009 models, as well as the diverse Crocs footwear line, by visiting the Crocs booth no. 32400 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, August 8-11.
