To make your trade fair participation as efficient and successful as possible GDS and GLOBAL SHOES together with their service partners offer visitors and exhibitors numerous services and helpful information – most even free of charge.

The services range from time and cost-saving online and mobile services and individual travel packages through to varied catering offers and a comprehensive supporting programme.

Moreover, the GDS Internet presence was significantly extended over the past few seasons and serves as a key source of information for exhibitors and visitors alike.

One Ticket, Many Advantages Holders of admission tickets to GDS are also entitled to attend GLOBAL SHOES and vice versa. The ticket offers trade visitors the chance to gain a comprehensive overview of the sector. The ordering activities are supplemented by workshops and seminars.

Included in the Price of Admission:
• Free travel on public transport within the network of the Rhine-Ruhr transport authority (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr – VRR, including 2nd class and regional trains on German railways)
• Free shuttle service at the exhibition centre and from the airport to the trade fair
• Free hall layout plans and maps
• Free admission to Order Information events, other sector-specific information events like the Kids Business Brunch, TRENDS INN (halls 4 and 5) and to all fashion shows

Individual Travel Offers – Easy Hotel Booking:
In cooperation with the official service partner DMT – Düsseldorf Marketing & Tourismus GmbH exhibitors and visitors are offered assistance with planning their journey, accommodation and leisure activities before/during the fair.

At you will find a wide range of information and services ensuring a pleasant stay: individually arranged travel offers, bookings, organisation of city tours, package deals and transfers.

More specifically at the hotel database 'd:hotel' you will find a variety of available hotel rooms in and around Düsseldorf for all budgets, most of which are also bookable online.

Welcome to the Guests' Club:
Holders of the 'Very Important Buyer' card have access to the Guests' Club throughout the fair. With its free drinks, hot and cold food and selection of international daily newspapers the Guests' Club is a popular meeting point for meetings and sectoral discussions in a quiet setting.

Always Online: W-LAN throughout the Entire Exhibition Centre Messe Düsseldorf's W-LAN can be used via a laptop or PDA throughout the entire exhibition centre provided the hardware is equipped with a W-LAN card.

Visitors can purchase a W-LAN voucher for wireless Internet access from the information counters in the halls. Use of the GDS and GLOBAL SHOES homepages is free of charge.

In the Internet Lounges in Hall 1 (Stand D 05), Hall 5 (Stand K 06) and Hall 8a (Stand D 52) visitors and exhibitors can gather information on the Internet free of charge. It is also possible to log on to your own email account to read your emails.
