Alima Pure rebrands mineral cosmetics line

Alima Pure, formerly Alima Cosmetics, is ready for its close up. The mineral cosmetic company is unveiling a new brand, packaging and Web site to prepare for the launch of U.S. wholesale and international distribution.

“After four years of creating products to help women feel their best, it was time to freshen up our own look,” said Kate O'Brien, Alima Pure founder. “Now we're ready to take our line to the next level with a wholesale program in the states and distribution in Europe and Asia.”

Online orders from 40 countries and all 50 states have grown 125 percent in the last year, prompting the company to upgrade packaging, add UPC codes and extend its line of more than 250 Alima Pure products in preparation for retail distribution.

Custom designed, branded merchandising displays with a 44-product capacity are also available for specialty boutiques and spas carrying the collection.

The Alima Pure mineral makeup line includes:

Minerals Get a Makeover
An award-winning new look from Portland, Ore.-based Sandstrom Partners reflects the soft beauty of the brand with a modern aesthetic and whimsical detail. Artist Amy Ruppel created delicate illustrations and a charming bird logo which decorate custom jars, recycled paper boxes, and the newly designed e-commerce site at www.alimapure.com.

“Our strategy is to break through the crowded marketplace with a charming design that communicates the essence of our brand, beautiful and natural, in a modern way,” said O'Brien.

The new Alima Pure packaging also carries the European BDIH “Certified Cosmetics Seal,” a guarantee of the products' safety and environmentally-friendly ingredients.

Alima Pure began in Portland, Oregon in 2004 from a love of dazzling colors and the better-for-you qualities of natural mineral cosmetics. The Alima Pure line is created with luxurious pigments that provide subtle reflective properties, sun protection, anti-inflammatory benefits and beautiful, natural color.
