Jil Sander to have new owners

Once again the ownership of Jil Sander AG is about to change. The Hamburg-based fashion house has been creating high end ready made garments, footwear and accessories for men and women for decades.
However, since 2005 various hardships had embraced the fashion enterprise that made the operations extremely difficult, and this led to change of proprietorship.
In 2006 Change Capital Partners had acquired Jil Sander from Prada, which it is now selling it off to Tokyo-based Onward Holdings Co Ltd and its European subsidiary GIBO Co SpA for a nearly US $244.2 million.
