MBFW marks the US debut of designer Zheng Luo

OmniaLuo Inc a China-based company engaged in the business of designing, developing, marketing and distributing fine women's apparel under the brand name OMNIALUO, announced that the theme for its upcoming fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York is "Beauty Blossoms."
In China, the cherry blossom symbolizes feminine beauty and the inspiration for the collection comes from an ancient Chinese poem written by poet and scholar Cui Hu from China's Tang Dynasty.
The poem artistically combines the beauty of a young woman with that of a cherry blossom to illustrate the scholar's unrequited love of nature and the lady; a love that continued long after the lady was no longer present.
In keeping with this metaphor, the momentary beauty that OmniaLuo's Spring 2009 Collection will bring to the New York runway is designed to be long lasting, and especially suited to the taste of New Yorkers.
"OmniaLuo is dedicated to beauty and the pursuit of beauty elevates and propels us to excel.
With this as our inspiration, we have designed functional clothing that embodies style and elegance for women in many regions throughout China," said Ms. Zheng Luo, CEO and Chairperson of OmniaLuo.
"We are very excited to show our 2009 Spring Collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and look forward to developing OMNIALUO into a global lifestyle brand."
The New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will be held September 5 - 12, 2008. OmniaLuo's fashion show will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. ET in The Salon at Bryant Park.
