Cradle to search for favorite local baby boutique

The Cradle, the premier online lifestyle destination for new and expectant parents, has partnered with Pregnancy magazine to search for America's favorite local baby boutique.
The program, which launches September 15th on TheCradle.com, is looking for the shops that go above and beyond selling baby basics.
Whether they offer the best selection of hard-to-find stylish baby clothing, the latest in eco- friendly toys and furniture, parenting classes, or in-house consultants to help moms navigate the new world of mothering, The Cradle wants to hear about these exceptional stores that cater to the needs of moms and babies across the country.
"While most people know about the big, national chains, we want to honor the smaller baby boutiques that do so much for expectant and new parents," says Hilary Zalon, founder and president of The Cradle.
"America saw a record number of births last year, and these new parents want more than a place to stock up on diapers. They're looking for community and support, as well as a carefully chosen selection of the best available baby
products."
Boutique owners, employees, and customers can nominate their favorite store online at thecradle.com/bestbabyboutique. The Cradle will narrow down entrants to the top finalists and voting will determine the winning shop.
Along with receiving the coveted title of 'America's Best Baby Boutique', the winning store will receive an editorial feature and advertising exposure in both Pregnancy magazine and online at TheCradle.com.
There will also be two opportunities to win a fabulous prize: first for nominating a boutique (a Jewels and Pinstripes Celebrity Bump Bag worth more than $3,000), and then for voting for the winner (a shopping spree at the boutique of their choice).
