In past two years, Taiwanese industries, including lingerie sector, have been facing severe problems. Statistics show that the innerwear trade weakened and many companies are barely staying afloat.

The international trade crunch has even affected Wacoal, one of the key lingerie manufacturers in Taiwan.

However, the company, set up in 1970, took several steps that seemed to have worked impressively.

Reportedly, Wacoal, firstly, opened biggest lingerie shop in the world to attract more customers.

Company toiled to provide efficient service and comfortable environment alongwith quality products.

Wacoal, which owns 12 brands, including four major labels, namely, Wacoal, Savvy, Salute and Been Teen, introduced wide range of new products to fulfill the needs of customers from different age groups and backgrounds.

Insiders inform that the annual sale of Wacoal reaches NT$6 billion, accounting for 25 percent of Taiwan lingerie market.
