JCPenney welcomes shoppers to new store in Avon

J. C. Penney Company Inc, one of the nation's largest department store retailers, is offering shoppers an easy and exciting way to experience style and quality at smart prices with the grand opening of the JCPenney store at Avon Crossing, located at 1301 Center Road in Avon, Ohio.
The official grand opening for the new JCPenney will take place on Friday, Oct. 3, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store's main entrance at 8:30 a.m. The store is among 12 JCPenney stores celebrating grand openings on the same day nationwide.
“Avon Crossing provides an exceptional location and venue to showcase all that JCPenney has to offer,” said Store Manager Jenny Ruble. “We are focused on providing an outstanding shopping experience with a convenient store design, great merchandise assortment, and our exceptional team of Associates. We invite everyone to come celebrate our opening with us.”
JCPenney, celebrating 106 years of serving America, has served Ohio shoppers since 1918. The new store will contribute approximately 200 jobs to the local economy. JCPenney at Avon Crossing will operate Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Great New Concepts Take Center Stage:
The 104,000-square-foot store showcases JCPenney's two brand concepts: a Sephora beauty boutique and the extraordinary American Living collection of fashions for men, women, children and home.
The full-service Sephora boutique covers approximately 1,500 square feet and boasts the best that Sephora has to offer, including some of the most desired brands in makeup, skincare, fragrance, and accessory products such as Bare Escentuals and Philosophy. The Sephora inside JCPenney is staffed by a team of beauty consultants specially trained in the Science of Sephora.
Developed exclusively for the JCPenney customer by Global Brand Concepts, a division of Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, American Living is an updated classic traditional lifestyle brand that combines impeccable quality with clean, timeless style. It captures the spirit of American aspiration, diversity, and celebration – all at JCPenney's signature smart prices.
The Avon Crossing store also introduces Linden Street – JCPenney's new, neo-traditional home furnishings and accessories brand that offers contemporary interpretations of classic design. Linden Street's casual, comfortable and inviting style provides a lived-in, relaxed look, transforming homes into a cozy retreat.
Throughout the store, wide aisles and efficient customer service centers make shopping easy and convenient. The updated layout helps shoppers easily locate major brands, including The Original Arizona Jean Company, Chris Madden, nicole by Nicole Miller, Liz & Co., Ambrielle, a.n.a, SouthPole, Worthington, Stafford, Bisou-Bisou, Carter's and Nike.

For added convenience, the new Avon JCPenney provides an assortment of services under one roof, including an all-occasion portrait studio, expert in-home custom decorating services, and a full-service salon offering an array of professional hair and beauty services, as well as products from leading salon brands. In addition, customers can place orders or pick up internet and catalog purchases at the store's Service desk.
