Lana Fuchs Couture debuts at 7th Annual MBFW in Los Angeles

Lana Fuchs, CEO and designer of Lana Fuchs Couture will participate in the Mercedes-Benz 7th Annual Fashion Week in Los Angeles, California.
She is the first designer from Las Vegas to be featured in the event. Fuchs will showcase more than fifty looks from the Spring 2009 Lana Fuchs Couture Collection inside The Main Tent at Smashbox Studios on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m.
Splashed with exuberant colors and prints, Fuchs' debut collection for Spring 2009, entitled, "Rhapsody In Bloom," will feature elegant dresses from day to evening, in an array of ultra feminine silhouettes.
An avid traveler, Fuchs was inspired to use stunning floral prints after an unforgettable walk through the gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny, France.
Eastward bound in exotic India, while traveling from Udaipur to Jaipur, she also fell in love with the vivid colored saris, which inspired her spring color palette.
Thus, Rhapsody in Bloom came to life in rich silks, delicate chiffons and embroidered lace, with delicious accents of handcrafted embellishments.
"I am delighted to be the first Las Vegas-based designer to participate in one of the world's most prestigious fashion shows," said Fuchs.
"It is a huge honor to represent Las Vegas, and I hope that someday, our city will become a part of this fabulous fashion tradition.
Las Vegas has evolved into a mecca for fashion frequented by world class tastemakers and influencers, and so, it is only natural that we host our very own Las Vegas Fashion Week."
