Fanshawe College students to present at L'Oréal Fashion Week

Those seeking elegance and edge, classic sophistication with poise or rocking street wear need look no further than L'Oréal Fashion Week; October 20th - 25th, 2008. Canada's most treasured global designer, Alfred Sung, officially opens the 16th season of L'Oréal Fashion Week at 2:00PM (BIO) on Monday October 20th, with a runway ceremony not to be missed featuring his exquisitely crafted modern and elegant bridal collection.
Mayor David Miller and The Bay's newly appointed CEO and President, Bonnie Brooks will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open The STUDIO, Fashion Week's second runway tent at 2:30PM, immediately followed by the inaugural show, Katya Revenko at 3:00PM.
Through the efforts of sponsor partners the FDCC was able to build The STUDIO this season which will play host to designers: Jason Meyers, Karamea, Aqua di Lara, Zeugari Beachwear, League of Lovers & Thieves, BODYBAG by Jude, Janet Hill capsule debut, eugenia and a presentation by the graduating Fashion Design students from Fanshawe College.
From 5:30 to 7:30PM Holt Renfrew's bi-annual soiree will welcome Wallpaper's Tyler Brule as their guest of honour while fashionistas, tastemakers and the like gather in anticipation for a fabulous week.
The evening welcomes back Pink Tartan at 8:00PM (BIO), indulging audiences with pristine tailoring and style, followed by an explosive show of sexy street chic from international mega brand MANGO at 9:00PM (BIO).
