WLC College hosts freshers welcome bash

WLC College Delhi, hosted a welcome bash for the new entrants of September 2008 batch, the freshers party was held amidst the green locality of Sainik Farms, students from the Noida campus participated as well. More then 250 students were present at the occasion and around 50 students participated in the bash.
It is a tradition at WLC to organize a fresher's party with much extravaganza and splendor, this year not a single stone was left unturned to make sure to conform to the previous standards, and it would not be an exaggeration if it is said that this year's event surpassed the previous ones.
The theme of the party was 'Bollywood Nights' and Bollywood was present indeed everywhere whether in the music or in the ambience.
The event started with an inspirational song “Aashayen”. Shivaji a student from wlc's sainik farms campus infused the inspiration of the song among the students.
This was further followed by some solo song and dance performances by the students. However it was Vishaka who really stole the whole show with her scintillating dance performance and really propelled the audience to ask for more. She even danced on some famous Bollywood numbers.
Meanwhile the students were slowly picking up the rhythm on DJ Anshi's music and could be spotted shaking a leg which really provided the musical succor for the party.
The event was presided over by WLC College Chairman Mr Vinay Pasricha and CEO Ms Malobika Sengupta. Other faculty members from the Delhi campus were also present at the party and could be seen enjoying the occasion too.
