Mariella Burani confirms interest from Middle East investors

As requested by the Italian regulatory Authority, with reference to today's press speculation, Mariella Burani Family Holding S.p.A. confirms that they have received preliminary approaches and indications of interest from Middle Eastern investors with the objective of value creation in Mariella Burani Fashion Group S.p.A, but no firm proposals have been received.
The Group's principal activities are the design, production and distribution of luxury ladies wear, knitwear and leather accessories such as handbags and shoes.
The Group sells its products under its own trademark, Mariella Burani and under license for international fashion companies such as Kalvin Klein and Vivienne Westwood.
The Group operates in Italy, Europe, North America, Japan, Asean countries and other countries worldwide. In 2007, the Group acquired Calgaro Srl.
